Country music singer Candy Coburn calls her new single "Pink Warrior."
She wrote the song in memory of her grandmother, and to honor the millions of women who have battled breast cancer.
Coburn and the organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure will team to give away 100 tickets to the Big & Rich concert Sept. 4 at the New York State Fair's Mohegan Sun Grandstand. Coburn will be an opener for the star duo that night.
Survivors can register for the tickets at www.komencny.org. The free tickets will be located in the grandstand, in a block designated at the Pink Warrior section. Friends and family can buy tickets in the same section at $35 each from the fair box office or through Ticketmaster. (Ticketmaster buyers should use the password "pink.")
Here is the YouTube clip of Coburn's promo for "Pink Warrior."
